Why do we need it? AI enablement is part of Library Development.  Indeed, library technology has been a transformative part of the development of a modern library. The rapid pace of AI technological advancements shows no signs of slowing down, and libraries must embrace a leadership role in utilizing knowledge management to remain relevant and meet the evolving needs of their communities.<\/p>\n<h2>AI Enablement<\/h2>\n<p>The contemporary library transcends traditional boundaries, emerging as a dynamic ecosystem of knowledge, collaboration, and technological innovation. Our strategic approach recognizes libraries as living organisms \u2013 adaptable, interconnected, and fundamentally responsive to evolving academic landscapes. Certainly, its important to recognize that knowledge management is not an end in itself. Certainly, AI enablement can allow libraries to provide enhanced services and new ways to access library collections.  It is the wise and thoughtful use of AI technology in conjunction with a professional and well-trained staff that brings the best aspects of library service to the community.<\/p>\n<h2>Modern Library<\/h2>\n<p>Basically, an AI enablement or library technology plan is essential to effectively leverage the library collections in a way that benefits library users. Library professionals can attain the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate digital resources by going to conferences and workshops.  However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acohen.com\/feedback.htm\">library planning workshops<\/a> can assist leadership with AI enablement, IT-related issues, space planning and financial budgeting. If you are part of a library that is looking to upgrade their services, technology, space and utilization of resources.  Our holistic planning helps the library use its physical and virtual tools.  Our research helps the library provide access to collections, foster digital literacy, promote lifelong learning, and bridge the digital divide. We have found that technology can be used in a strategic and thoughtful manner.
