Aaron Cohen Associates, Ltd's project list includes national and international clients - Academic, Public, Law, Medical, Government, Special Libraries, and Research Institutes.  We are an interdisciplinary library consulting, fund raising and development team.  Our architectural and interior design group is made up of librarians and architects.

Our Library Team has developed a three-step process to make your library development successful:
  • Community Analysis
  • Building Program
  • Schematic Design

Project Planning:

Our library planning team aligns the needs of the users, leverages historical models and develops visualizations of the future.  We use a set of techniques such as Planning for Results to understand the needs of the users.  We also do statistical research of the community.  On web sites such as the National Center for Education has a statistical web site.  Tour our research pages to learn more.

Our building program has been copied by many in the field.  It is the only tool that was developed by librarians and architects.

The special requirements of your community are important to your success.

We can provide:

The building program is more flexible and easier to use then an architectural database.  For each project we add components from our focus groups and interviews.  We adapt to the needs of the community and apply our model as needed.

We also take existing architectural plans and transfer them to CAD.  We share our findings with librarians and facilitate visualization sessions.  The building program and schematics allow us to account for physical sq. ft. requirements while our designs help our clients visualize possibilities.
